Learning Through Play
From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Sunnyside School House Preschool are constantly being exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive. Through playful activities we build on the strengths and interests of each child to help build a solid foundation where they can develop skills that will help them transition to kindergarten and beyond.
Sunnyside School House Preschool believes that the social and intellectual benefits of a mixed-age group of 2’s, 3s, 4s, and 5s outweigh those of a single age classroom.
Partner Teachers for Life
Courtney and Tim Vanis are the owners and lead teachers at Sunnyside School House Preschool, but they are also parents and partners for life. Married for 16 years with two children of their own they have the life experience that comes with raising a family as well as the academic and professional experience that makes them qualified teachers.
